Workshop on Cross-Species Comparisons in the Study of Human Development

Professor Mike Shanahan organized an interdisciplinary workshop on conceptual models and empirical approaches for researching human development with the use of transdisciplinary comparisons.

Discussion topics included social status, early trauma, curiosity and aggressive behaviors. Cross-topic discussions included questions about the assessment of behavioral measures, the social and physical environmental stimuli that organisms perceive and react to and neurological circuits and sensory channels that are involved in the transmission of information.
