We are pleased to welcome visiting Professor Steve Cole at the Jacobs Center during Summer 2018. Steve Cole is a Professor of Medicine and Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences in the UCLA School of Medicine. He pioneered the field of human social genomics and supports a world-wide array of research programs in his role as Director of the UCLA Social Genomics Core Laboratory. Steve will be working with a team of scientists at the Jacobs Center and from UNC-Chapel Hill; they will be examining gene expression patterns in the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent to Adult Health (Add Health), a nationally representative panel study of young adults in the United States.
