The LIFE Fall Academy 2023 took place from October 13th to 16th, 2024 at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin.
From October 13-16, LIFE fellows and faculty convened at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development. Fellows presented their research, participated in a grant writing workshop, and joined round-table discussions on topics like AI, science communication, and animal models in research.
The Academy fostered a lively exchange between researchers from different institutions, including the University of Zurich, the University of Michigan, the University of Virginia, and other Berlin-based universities. This interdisciplinary collaboration brought new insights and strengthened connections across different fields of human development research.
