How do families organize their children's school routines, and how do their values, identities, and social environments influence the priorities and decisions they make regarding daily organization? How do these decisions impact children's development and learning success? These are the questions that the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development at the University of Zurich, as part of the Zurich Learning Progress Study (LEAPS), is investigating in the LEAPS Parent Survey. More information can be found at www.zh.ch/lernverlaufserhebung and on the participant web portal at www.leaps-zh.ch.
The online Parent Survey assesses the development and learning context of students during their compulsory schooling. The goal is to gain a holistic understanding of developmental and educational trajectories. To achieve this, LEAPS Parent Survey covers topics such as the organization of school routines, parental values and identities, as well as children's behaviors and leisure activities.
