Réka Borbás joined the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development in 2019 and has completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of Basel in 2022. Currently as a postdoctoral researcher she primarily focuses on developmental neuroimaging, with a particular emphasis on understanding the functional neural correlates of mentalizing processes in children and adolescents between ages 7 and 14, and their parents. In her endeavors to better understand intergenerational transmission of neural processes and behaviors she has been gathering and working with rich data in mother-child dyads in the KidCAT project and in family systems in the SMILIES project.
